In this workshop, we will review some examples of school-based assessment that have been successful in this first year of implementation of the new study design for Italian. From 2020, units 3 and 4 will also follow this new study design. The workshop will give you an opportunity to take stock of what’s already occurred in 2019 in units 1 and 2 in preparation for units 3 and 4 in 2020. I will propose a series of assessment tasks for each outcome of units 3 and 4 and you will have the opportunity to work with these as a way of developing further ideas in a guided context with your colleagues. You will come away from this full day event with a clearer idea of how to structure your assessment programs in units 1-4.
