This workshop is the continuation of the previous workshop aiming Unit 1 and 2 VCE Indonesian. This workshop is meant to build teachers’ confidence and creativity to enable them to create their own SAC papers and materials for unit 3 and unit 4 VCE Indonesian SL, by adapting available materials and tasks, without having to a completely new set of materials.

Presented in Indonesian and English.

About the Presenters:

Tata Survi has been teaching in Australia since 2002 in both the state and private systems. Tata is the driving force behind the AIAV immersion courses, run in Jogjakarta in connection with Pandu Language School. He was a member of the team that brought about the first student exchange to Jogjakarta in January 2009, which continues annually to the present. Tata Survi is the co-editor and producer of widely used Indonesian textbooks “Saling-Silang 1” and “Saling-Silang 2”.

Tata Survi has been involved in VCE programs both for Indonesian as First Language and Indonesian as Second Language as an assessor and setter. He is currently an Indonesian teacher at Huntingtower School, a school with a very strong Indonesian program.

Timi Ardiyanti is an experienced teacher of Indonesian and a passionate learner who has had experience in the role of leadership in IB MYP (International Baccalaureate - Middle Years Program) in an International school in Indonesia. Timi is also an experienced IB teacher trainer, Language B presenter and a VCE presenter in various workshops in both Indonesia and Australia.

For the past 11 years Timi has been the Indonesian Studies coordinator at Huntingtower School. Timi is also an assessor for both Indonesian SL oral and written examinations with the VCAA.
