About the Presenter

Ron Thomas has 25 years experience teaching: English, Literature and Drama. He is a graduate of the Diploma in Non Fiction Writing and Editing. Ron has taught writing skills to remedial through to gifted students and from year 7 to year 12. Ron is the champion of diversity and applies this to his seminars. He trains teachers across the country in a wide range of activities: Public Speaking, Writing, Drama, Debating and dealing with reluctant and gifted students. He has been Compensatory Education Master, Gifted and Talented Students Coordinator, Curriculum Innovations Manager, Flexible Learning Coach and still teaches Primary and Secondary students across all divisions. He is a Gold Level Toastmaster, author of a Drama text book, published poet and runs workshops for both VATE and Drama Victoria. Ron also runs many enhancement programs for GATEWAYS.

Ron is an experienced facilitator with a highly interactive methodology and lively activities. You won’t be bored!
